Our asbestos management services are designed to help you navigate the complexities of asbestos regulations and protect your employees and loved ones from potential exposure.
EnviroMac offers air monitoring services with accredited Air Monitors working under the guidance of an experienced Supervising Air Monitor. Our team is skilled in collecting ambient, personal, and final clearance samples to ensure a thorough assessment of airborne asbestos levels.
Samples are analyzed by either phase contrast microscopy (PCM) or transmission electron microscopy (TEM), depending on regulatory requirements. Our in-house AIHA accredited laboratory enables us to deliver fast turnaround times for PCM sample analysis.
Ambient air and clearance air monitoring by phase contrast microscopy (PCM) are required if more than 35 cubic feet, 160 square feet, or 260 linear feet of regulated asbestos-containing material is disturbed.

AHERA, which stands for the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act, is a U.S. federal law enacted in 1986 to address the presence of asbestos in schools. The law mandates that all public and private non-profit K-12 schools in the United States inspect their buildings for asbestos-containing materials and develop a management plan to prevent or mitigate asbestos exposure. AHERA requires schools to conduct regular inspections, implement response actions to address any asbestos found, and ensure proper documentation and communication of asbestos-related activities. Management Plans are crucial to ensure the health and safety of our children.
